Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her position as the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she has to cover everything ranging from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin is the daughter of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings and the 2020 presidential election as well as efforts of two administrations to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. The reporter also was on numerous trips with President and Vice President as well as a secret trip to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump. Prior to becoming a part of the company in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin, who is an experienced filmmaker, established Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentary style films, with clients like Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has a Bachelor in Science in Journalism that she earned from Boston University. The place she lives is Washington, D.C., along with her family members, including their 3-year-old daughter.
